University of Basrah organizes a symposium on cyber warfare
College of Education for Women at the University of Basrah organized an electronic symposium on cyber warfare.
The symposium presented by the instructor Ahmed Safaa Souda from the Arab Gulf Academy for Maritime Studies dealt with cyberwar, which is a form of electronic warfare or a military procedure that includes the use of electromagnetic energy to control the field characterized by the use of electronics and the electromagnetic spectrum for the use of data exchange through networked systems and associated infrastructures.
The cyber-electronic war is divided into three sections. The first section is the cyber-attack (Cyber EA) whose mission is to use electromagnetic energy to attack the opponent’s electronics or access the electromagnetic spectrum with the intent to destroy it, and the second section is Cyber EP, which is a method taken to protect electronics from Enemy intrusion into it, and the third section support electronic warfare via the Internet (Cyber ES)
It is a procedure for determining the source of electromagnetic energy from grid systems for the purpose of immediate threat identification and future operations.
