In honor of his memory, a classroom is named after one of its lecturers
 The Department of History at the College of Education for Women launched a classroom in the name of the late Dr. Lazem Lafta Al-Malki in his memory.

 This initiative comes in commemoration of his fragrant memory and in appreciation of his good efforts that he provided to Basra University and the College of Education for Women, as he was one of the former assistant dean for scientific affairs, in addition to being one of its qualified professors for what distinguished him in the scientific and academic aspect.

 Dr. Al-Maliki presented many valuable researches in the field of modern and contemporary history, and he also has a number of printed books.  God have mercy on the deceased and rifled vast paradises.
