University Basrah organizes a scientific visit to a church in Basra

College of Education for Women at the University of Basra organized a visit to the Apostolic Rock Church in Basra.

 The visit, which was organized by the Department of History and in cooperation with the Artistic Activities Unit, included accompanying a number of students, under the supervision of professors from the department, to visit the Apostolic Rock Church, which is one of the most important churches in Basra, and represents a bright history of Basra.

 The students and the accompanying delegation were received by Reverend Ammar Hekmat, who in turn welcomed the attendees and gave a full explanation of the history of the establishment of the church and its historical role. He also thanked for this visit, which demonstrates the spirit of brotherhood and tolerance between religions.
