College of Education for Women at the University of Basra organized a memorial ceremony for the death of one of its lecturers
      The ceremony that was held by the History Department for the death of Dr. (Lazim Laftah Thiab Al-Maliki) included the opening of one of the classrooms marked in his name and in the presence of the President of the University and a number of colleges deans, as well as the family of the deceased.
      At the ceremony, a speech was delivered by the President of the University, the Dean of the College, the Head of the History Department, and the family of the deceased, which dealt with his social and scientific biography, and praise for his humanitarian stances.
