University of Basrah organizes a scientific trip to Khor Al-Zubair port
The College of Education for Women at the University of Basra organized a scientific trip to the port of Khor Al-Zubair
The visit aimed to engage the theoretical study in the field, and to see who the students studied in an applied way.
The visit, which was organized by the Department of Geography and under the supervision of Dr. Ali Hussein Khamis and teacher Wael Qassem Rashid, included informing the students about the facilities and infrastructure of Khor Al Zubair port, which is one of the most important Iraqi ports, as it includes (21) berths with a high capacity.
 During the visit, the method and mechanism of the port's work in exporting and importing oil derivatives and its importance as financial resources for the port and the state were clarified.
 The members of the trip were received by the director of the port and the administrative staff.
