Issuance of a teaching book at the University of Basra about the Barghoutian state of Bani Tarif
A teacher at the College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra, Dr. Ali Saddam Nasrallah, published a book entitled “The Barghoutian State of Bani Tarif, its political history and the truth of its religion 122-451 Hijri.”
The book, which included (444) pages divided into five chapters, shed light on the state of Bani Tarif, the Barghawati, which was established by the Zero Kharijites in the Tamesna region overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and that it was the first country to announce its separation from the Umayyad state.
The author touched on criticism and the investigation of the narratives about the religious deviation attributed to this state, as it was indicated that its second ruler, Saleh bin Tarif, had claimed prophethood and established a religion that split from Islam.
