A scientific study at the University of Basra prepared by the instructor Ahmed Jassim Muhammad in the College of Education for Women examined The Impact of Climate on the Tourism industry in Aqaba Governorate

 The study, which was published in (RIGE) journal, classified within Scopus containers, included the application of some mathematical criteria to assess the tourism climate in the Aqaba and Wadi Rum region in Jordan.

 The study found that the thermal rates of this area are suitable for human activity. There is an essential correlation between the number of tourists who visit the study area and the feeling of comfort.
