A Lecturer at Basra University Participates in a Scientific Symposium about the Noble Prophet and the Jews of Madinah, which was Established by the International Dean Centre for Research and Studies of the Abbasid Holy Shrine.
Mr. Abbas Qasim Atiya from the College of Education for Women at Basra University participated in the scientific symposium held by Dar Al-Rasool Al-Adham of the International Dean Centre for Research and Studies, Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs in the Holy Abbasid Shrine, which was entitled “Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him and his family) and the Jews of Medina: The Circumstances of the Relationship and its Developments according to Quranic Presentation”.
The seminar, in which Dr. Mushtaq Bashir Al-Ghazali lectured, dealt with a set of important themes and topics about the biography of the Noble Prophet (Peace be upon him and his family) and these were exposed to the Holy Qur’an, especially with regard to his treatment of the Jews of Medina.
The intervention of Mr. Abbas Qasim was about the incident of the killing of Banu Qurayza and what marred this incident of fallacies and interpretations that some orientalists exploited and framed with what serve their hatred of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him and his family) to portray him as a blood-lust eager to murder, and to respond to such fabrications.
The center granted a certificate of thanks and appreciation to the attendees and participants in appreciation of their efforts. The seminar was held on the electronic platform (ZOOM).
