Within the Satisfaction Project, University of Basrah organizes a visit to the National Orphanage
The College of Education for Women at the University of Basra organized a visit to the National Orphanage to take care of orphans as part of the Reda Project program.
The visit aimed to know the conditions of orphans and see the services provided to them, as well as moral and material support.
The visit included a meeting with the director of the orphanage, who explained how orphans receive their education and educational lessons in government schools on a regular basis. She added that some of them who reached the age of majority took their lives and established families after their marriage.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Alaa Abdul-Imam Al-Riyahi, the assistant dean for scientific affairs, and Dr. Muhammad Talib Al-Asadi, the assistant dean for administrative affairs, distributed gifts to the orphans, as well as a sum of money in support of the home.
