A lecturer at the University of Basra receives a certificate of teaching competency from the International Institute of UNESCO

 A female lecturer at the College of Education for Women at the University of Basra obtained a certificate of educational competence from the International Institute for Education of UNESCO in the State of China.

 Dr. Rafif Abdel Hafez Al-Riyahi, a teaching assistant in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, participated in a course on empowering future university professors’ skills and developing their abilities to apply big data in teaching, research, and student assessment through trainings on advanced information and communication technology.

 The participation included an intensive course on (HIVe, HADOOP, Microsoft Exel) applications for different levels, and the participation included practical work by designing a presentation to present an experimental lecture to students.
