A panel discussion was held in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences in the College of Education for Girls on Iraqi children and mental arithmetic
The episode presented by Professor Dr. Anwar Abdul Qadir Mashi included the most important reasons that made Iraqi children among the most outstanding children in mental arithmetic. The reason is that the Iraqi child is characterized by a high innate genetic intelligence that makes him a gifted child.
And she indicated that this matter prompted many researchers to conduct special studies in this field, as many of them confirmed through his studies that Iraqis are characterized by an IQ of 80% compared to other Arab countries.
She also discussed in the panel discussion that the families of these children are exposed to a lot of offers to buy their children's brains, which requires government agencies to pay attention to this issue.
