The publication of a book for a teacher at the University of Basra on Italian Orientalism and the honorable biography of the Prophet

The assistant teacher at the College of Education for Girls, Abbas Qassem Attia Al-Maryani, published a book entitled “Italian Orientalism in the Noble Prophet’s Biography”.

The book, which included (288) pages distributed over four chapters, shed light on the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the book of the Italian orientalist Francesco Gabrieli (Muhammad and the Islamic Conquests), who is considered one of the pioneers of the Italian Orientalist school. The study provided a response to the contradictory opinions mentioned by the orientalist about Biography of our Holy Prophet (PBUH).

It is worth noting that the book was printed by Dar Al-Rasoul Al-A'zam affiliated to the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.
