A panel discussion was held in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences in the College of Education for Girls on irrational ideas
The episode presented by the assistant teacher, Maysa Sabri Jassim, included an introduction to irrational thoughts, which are ideas that confuse people’s minds and fill them with feelings of anger and hatred, and sometimes their source is an internal defense mechanism produced by the mind. To relieve negative feelings in order to avoid facing the truth of oneself, or circumstances.
I also showed during the episode the types of irrational thoughts: expectations, self-blame, mind reading
One of the irrational thoughts is the constant feeling that others do not approve of our actions
