The University of Basra / College of Education for Girls in the Department of History discussed a master's thesis for the student Zainab Muhammad Hussein Al-Shawaf entitled Anwar Khoja and his role in Albania 1944-1985 (historical study)
The thesis included 257 pages divided into an introduction, a preface, and three chapters. The preamble dealt with the history of Albania from independence in 1912 until 1944. The first chapter was entitled: Anwar Khoja’s upbringing and the factors for his personality formation. The second chapter was devoted to talking about the internal conditions of Albania during the reign of Anwar Khoja. 1946-1985, and the third chapter discussed Anwar Hoxha's foreign policy towards Yugoslavia, the Soviet Union and China 1944-1985. This study focused on clarifying the nature of communist rule in Albania.
