An electronic symposium at the University of Basra on Remy's misperception theory
The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education for Girls organized an electronic symposium on Remy's misperception theory
The symposium presented by the assistant teacher, Duha Adel, aimed at clarifying the misconceptions that resulted from Remy's theory, which many researchers learn about.

In the introduction to the symposium, an introductory overview was presented about the scientist Remy, who was born in 1913 and was a student at the hands of Cal Rogers, who had the effect of enriching him about self-perceptions. In one way or another, it helps the individual to get to know himself, and thus affects his relationship with others
2- The cause of the problem is often the self, but with regard to the world and others, there is no problem
3- The self has an applied aspect that can be used in psychotherapy and many others....
The symposium explained that many therapists use the Remy method four ways to provide evidence and data to their clients, namely: 1- Self-examination is to be spent by encouraging the counselor to talk and think about himself, i.e. to engage in self-exploration.
2- Interpretation or clarification includes a set of methods in addition to helping the guide to identify misconceptions and to guide him in the process of self-examination, self-expression and education.
Where this method depends on the strength of the therapist's personality, explanations or explanations may not always be effective, but if the guide's first duty is to change misconceptions, then interpretations directed directly at important misconceptions become one of the effective ways to change these perceptions.
