
A lecturer at the University of Basra gives a lecture on the impact of the environment on children’s mental health
Assistant teacher Sarah Ibrahim Ahmed from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences presented a lecture on the impact of the environment on children’s mental health as part of an invitation extended to her by the I Am an Orphan organization and in the presence of a delegation from UNICEF.
The lecture touched on the environmental risks of air and water pollution, education, and factory and restaurant waste on the health, physical, psychological and mental health of children and how to work to mitigate and reduce these risks.
The lecture included some activities that illustrate the impact of the environment on children, such as showing an awareness video and creating a studio for orphan children.
