The University of Basra organizes a symposium on women’s job empowerment as a path to self-realization
 
The Women’s Empowerment Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences and the Continuing Education Unit, organized a symposium on women’s career empowerment as a path to self-realization.

The symposium, which was lectured by Dr. Amal Mahdi Jabr and teacher Doha Adel Salem, aimed to introduce the most important strategies that help empower women functionally.
 
It included identifying the characteristics of a woman who is empowered at work, what are the ways and methods of success at work, how to work to achieve herself, develop her self-confidence, enhance the strengths of her personality, and address weaknesses.

The symposium presented the biographies of a number of successful women who had an impact on society and history, to inform the students about them and motivate them.
