University of Basra organizes a scientific workshop on the importance of scientific publishing

The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education for Girls organized a scientific workshop targeting researchers and graduate students on scientific publishing, its importance and methods, presented by Dr. Miqdad Abdel Imam Abboud from the College of Arts.

The workshop included the importance of spreading scientific awareness among graduate students and researchers in general, how to publish in Scopus journals, and the need for graduate students to obtain a university email.

The workshop touched on a number of recommendations regarding increasing the number of citations, setting keywords for research in the abstract, and other matters that would increase the number of citations for research.
