
University of Basra organizes a scientific visit to the Shatt al-Arab Regime
The Geography Department at the College of Education for Girls organized a visit to the Shatt al-Arab Regime under the supervision of a number of department professors and accompanied by third-year female students.
The visit included providing an explanation of the method of operation of the Shatt al-Arab regulator in the center of Basra Governorate, which is located specifically in the Al-Ashar area, which passes drainage water that runs towards Khor Al-Zubair and then to the Arabian Gulf, and prevents the return of sea water during the tidal process.
