University of Basra organizes a field visit to the United International Schools

The Geography Department at the College of Education for Girls organized a field visit to the United International Schools as part of the requirements for the subject of observation and application for fourth-year students.

The visit, which was supervised by teachers Zainab Saeb Abdel Amir, Hasna Khazal, Fatima Ayoub, and Nabaa Karim, aimed to watch a realistic lesson and benefit from it.

The visit included delivering two lectures, one of them entitled (Agriculture in Iraq) for the third intermediate grade, which touched on the types of crops and the appropriate climatic conditions for each crop, along with the geographical distribution of the governorates of Iraq and their importance in the country’s economy.
 
The second lecture dealt with the features of the Mesopotamian civilization for the first intermediate grade. The students took notes on the lectures in order to enhance the scientific aspects.
