University of Basra participates in honoring outstanding female orphan students

At the invitation of the Al-Qibla Coordination Foundation for the Care of Orphans, the College of Education for Girls, represented by Dr. Hana Abdel Nabi Al-Abadi, head of the Educational and Teaching Guidance Unit, and Abbas Qasim, head of media and government communication at the college, participated in honoring orphaned female students.

The participation aimed to support this important segment of society due to the educational and psychological difficulties they face, as well as to motivate some orphan female students who achieved high academic grades in the middle school stage, which enabled them to enter the colleges of medicine and pharmacy.

Dr. Hana Abdel Nabi gave a guidance and motivational lecture to the female students, directing them on how to deal with others, as well as guiding them on effective study methods.

In conclusion, the outstanding orphans were honored and the exemplary mothers who were credited with what they achieved were honored.
