University of Basra organizes a scientific workshop on common linguistic errors and correcting them

The Arabic Language Department at the College of Education for Girls organized, under the slogan “Say and Don’t Say,” a scientific workshop entitled Common linguistic errors and their correction, presented by the teacher Sarah Abdel Kazem.

The workshop aimed to prepare students who are able to write correctly and avoid making such common linguistic errors by explaining what they mean.

The workshop showed that errors are divided into grammatical, morphological, and semantic errors, as well as spelling errors and errors in punctuation marks, through a smooth method based on providing examples and pointing out common errors and correcting them.
