University of Basrah organizes an awareness seminar to combat violence against women under the title “Investment of Societies to Stop Violence against Women”

The College of Education for Girls, in cooperation with the Rehabilitation and Follow-up Center at Basra University Community participation and funding dealt with the first axis presented by Dr. Enas Al-Nasser. What is violence? And what are its types? Knowing the problems that are rooted in and causing society. The second axis, presented by Dr. Rafif Al-Riyahi, touched on women's awareness of combating violence against women, and their role in addressing cases of violence through the method of understanding, or reporting cases of violence. The symposium concluded that the students and graduates should be aware of their social and cultural needs to advance, support, develop, motivate and enhance their societal role, as they are a basic building block for building an intellectually and economically developed society.
