Basra University holds a cultural festival to commemorate the remembrance of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him)

The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education for Girls, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra, organized a cultural festival to commemorate the remembrance of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him).

The festival addressed the role of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him) in the general life of society, their attitude towards Muslims and the causality of attachment and connection to them. Because of their sanctity in the eyes of God Almighty and His Noble Prophet, especially the lady Umm al-Banin, Fatima bint Hizam al-Kalabiya, wife of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

Dr. Rafif Abdel Hafez Al-Riahi presented a brief overview of the life of this honorable lady, her venerable positions and dignity, and a number of female students participated in reciting some poems and verses about the family of the Prophet and the lady Umm al-Banin (peace be upon her).
