University of Basra organizes a scientific workshop on the impact of financial security on family life and its relationship to increasing rates of marital separation
 
The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education for Girls, organized a workshop entitled The Impact of Financial Security on Family Life and its Relationship to Increasing Marital Separation Rates, presented by Lecturer Abeer Khudair Abbas.

The workshop dealt with spreading psychological awareness among various members of society due to the many problems and challenges that the family faces in our contemporary reality resulting from the social and economic changes and the tremendous transformation in the nature of fast-paced life in light of the technological transformation.

The workshop addressed the reasons behind the failure of physical security and its relationship to the failure of family relationships, and the role of psychiatrists and social workers in diagnosing cases.
