University of Basra organizes a workshop entitled Drugs are a scourge to destroy society

The College of Education for Girls, in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Division at the University of Basra, organized a workshop entitled Drugs are a scourge to destroy society, presented by Colonel Fouad Al-Asadi from the Second Police College.

The workshop addressed the definition of drugs and the most important types spread in the city of Basra, and shed light on the effects of drugs and their specific types, such as crystal, which is called the youth drug, on society.

The workshop touched on the legal aspects of drug users and drug dealers in accordance with Law 50 of 2017, as well as how to prevent it and ways to treat drug users.
