The College of Education for Girls organizes a visit to the Cultural Center at the University of Basra

The Geography Department, in cooperation with the Astronomy and Space Amateur Club in Basra, organized a scientific visit to the Cultural Center, accompanied by second-year female students.

The visit aimed to learn about astronomy and its basics, meet the students’ desires, and increase knowledge of this important field.

The visit included a lecture by Professor Muhammad Muslim, a specialist in astronomy, and a presentation of a group of photos and documentaries about the exploratory missions sent by spaceships about the moon and the sun.

The visit included displaying pictures of groups of stars visible in the sky, and explaining the seriousness of cosmic disasters and their impact on the course of the universe.
