Basra University organized an awareness and guidance workshop on environmental awareness

The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education for Girls organized an awareness and guidance workshop on environmental awareness presented by Dr. Rafif Al-Riahi in the college gardens.

The workshop discussed the importance of the environment for humans, the relationship between humans and the environment, and what are the sources of pollution. Protecting the environment is a basic requirement for the continuation of human life, and since humans are the main cause of environmental pollution and devastation, it has become necessary to rehabilitate and raise awareness.

The workshop focused on providing students with the correct behaviors to deal with the environment with care and caution and defend it fiercely to ensure a healthy and happy life for themselves and future generations.

The workshop recommended not throwing waste randomly, making sure to pay attention to the cleanliness of the walls in the classrooms and their seats, and urging them to take care of the university garden and its cleanliness.

In conclusion, posters urging environmental awareness were distributed to female students, teaching staff and staff at the college.
