
University of Basra organizes a workshop on the electronic payment system in Iraq: the benefits and challenges
The College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra organized a workshop on the electronic payment system in Iraq between the benefits and challenges, presented by the lecturer Wael Qasim Rashid and Dr. Saif Moataz Al-Manasir.
The workshop discussed the concept of electronic payment, the history of its inception, its types, benefits and challenges, and the method of using an ATM and electronic purchasing using payment cards.
The workshop touched on government support for the use of electronic payment methods, obligating government institutions to adopt it in all their financial transactions, as well as stimulating the banking sector and electronic payment companies by providing many ATMs in institutions and public commercial places.
