The lecturer in the History Department, Dr. Ali Saddam Nasrallah, participated as a member in the committee discussing the master’s thesis, “Aspects of Social and Economic Life in Fatimid Egypt through the Texts of the Book of Egypt News by Al-Musbahi” by researcher Nada Hashem Hammadi.

The study dealt with aspects of social and economic life in Egypt, dating back to an important era in the history of the Fatimid state, namely the era or era of the powerful caliphs.

The study added that the book Akhbar Misr by Al-Musbahi (d. 420 AH), the subject of the study, is a source that gains its importance due to its temporal and spatial contemporaneity.
