In the second axis, lecturer Najwan Hassan Saba touched on the sayings of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in explaining the concept of fasting, its virtues, and the reward resulting from it.

Lecturer Amal Jari Jader explained the third axis, which included the concept of the month of Ramadan according to the imams of Ahl al-Bayt, “peace be upon them,” and explained through it the wisdom of the obligation of fasting, the characteristics of the holy month, and how the imams, “peace be upon them,” prepared for it.

The symposium aimed to spread the culture of fasting, explain its concept in ancient times, up to the Islamic concept, and explain its importance and its great role on the soul and body.

The symposium emphasized the greatness of the month of Ramadan, as it is found in the heavenly religions and ancient civilizations, and demonstrated how a Muslim can rise in the levels of conduct and behavior towards God by adhering to the hadiths of the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt, “peace be upon them.”
