The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education for Girls / University of Basra held an electronic symposium entitled (Educational Values ​​in the Thought of Imam Ali, peace be upon him).

  The symposium included three axes. In the first axis, the teacher, Amal Jari, addressed the concept of education in the thought of Imam Ali. The teacher, Marwa Yasser Siwan, touched on the standards of prophetic education for Imam Ali, peace be upon him. Dr. Saif Moataz pointed out the functions of education according to Imam Ali, peace be upon him.

The topics of the symposium stressed the importance of correct education in society and that the approach of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, is a correct approach that emphasized the importance of man because he is the highest of creatures in the eyes of God. Therefore, the educational theories, commandments and sayings of Imam Ali aimed to build man in all aspects and thus build societies regardless of religion, colour, nationality and language.
