The University of Basra organizes a scientific seminar for the master’s graduate student entitled “Agricultural Techniques in Andalusia from the Conquest until the Fall of Granada from 1897-92 AD”

The College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra organized an educational seminar for a master’s graduate student entitled “Agricultural Techniques in Andalusia from the Conquest to the Fall of Granada from 1897-92 AD.”

The study, which was lectured by researcher Amani Samir, which is part of her master’s thesis project, aimed to shed light on the study of agricultural techniques that researchers have neglected to complement previous studies in agriculture and irrigation, which are solutions to the problems facing agriculture and irrigation.

It addressed the treatment of water scarcity and its delivery to agricultural crops, and explained the most important methods and methods followed by the Arabs and Muslims in Andalusia to address water scarcity and deliver this water to agricultural crops to treat the desert side and drought in Andalusia. It showed the most important agricultural machines and tools that were used in agriculture and in raising water.

It touched on agricultural techniques for investing in soil and agricultural crops, explaining the types of soil and ways to identify good soil that is suitable for agriculture from bad soil that is not suitable for agriculture, and its impact on agricultural industrialization. Explaining agricultural methods and methods for dealing with surplus agricultural products and agricultural industries, methods for preserving and storing food and agricultural crops, and the possibility of investing these foodstuffs in trade.
