As part of the University of Basra’s celebrations of the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of the university, in the presence of the President of the University of Basra, the respected Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, the Governor of Basra, the respected Engineer Asaad Al-Eidani, and a number of members of the Provincial Council, and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, the respected Dr. Amal Muhammad Abdel Karim, as well as professors, employees, and students.

The President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, honored during the ceremony that was held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in the Bab al-Zubair College Complex in the College of Law and in the Imam Ali (peace be upon him) Hall, the distinguished professor and distinguished employee for each of the colleges of the University of Basra.
From the College of Education for Girls, Professor Dr. Hana Abdel Redha Rahim Al-Rubaie, responsible for the Academic Promotions Committee at the College of Education for Girls, was honored.
Dr. Saif Moataz Omar, head of the Information Technology Division at the College of Education for Girls.
