A lecturer at the College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Ali Diwan, published a book entitled “Statistical Applications in Agricultural Geography, Basra Governorate as a Model.”

The book included 424 pages distributed into eight chapters.

He highlighted the most important statistical applications in climate, water resources, soil, irrigation, forecasting crop and fertilizer productivity, and land needs for agricultural machinery.
