The University of Basra raises the banner of Husseini mourning, marking the beginning of the holy month of Muharram.

 

The College of Education for Girls, represented by its Dean, Dr. Amal Muhammad Abd al-Karim, participated in the ceremony of raising the blessed Husseini condolence flag coming from the holy city of Karbala, marking the beginning of the ceremonies for the holy month of Muharram, on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein bin Ali and his family and supporters, “peace be upon them,” in the Bab al-Zubair college complex. In the midst of a sad spiritual atmosphere, in the presence of a delegation from the holy shrine of Hussein, carrying the banner of Abu Al-Ahrar, “peace be upon him,” headed by the advisor to its Secretary-General, Hajj Fadel Oz, as well as academic and scientific figures and associates, who expressed the depth of their belonging to the Prophet’s family, “peace be upon them,” on the anniversary of the painful incident of Ashura. .
