The College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra organized awareness campaigns for breast cancer for early detection, believing in the capabilities and abilities of female students in terms of values, thought and behavior in educating women about the necessity of early detection and taking precautions. 

Through the keenness of the organizational departments in the College of Education for Girls to hold awareness campaigns about the dangers of breast cancer and the role of the university in spreading awareness in various aspects of life and educating its female students first and women of society second about the importance of early detection of breast cancer and the necessity of conducting the necessary examinations to confirm its presence or absence by conducting periodic examinations.
