Dr. Rafeef Al-Riyahi, a lecturer at the College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra, participated in the ICET International Conference "Embracing Innovation and Challenges". Which was held by Ishq Schools under the auspices of Stirling British Schools.

The participation included a research paper entitled "Communication with the Family and School from the Perspective of Primary School Counselors"

The research dealt with the importance of communication between the school and the family from the perspective of male and female counselors and to show the importance of parent-teacher councils for the student.

The research aimed to identify the importance of identifying the relationship between the family and the school through the educational counselor and building bridges of communication between them in the service of school life and developing and improving the educational process.

And to show the negative results resulting from the lack of communication and cooperation between the family and the school
