The College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra organized a discussion session entitled "The concept of special education and its applications in Iraq".

The discussion session, in which the lecturer Mutab Abdul-Hussein Al-Rikabi lectured, aimed to shed light on the objectives of special education, explain its concept and review its system in Iraq.

The discussion session addressed the most important challenges facing the application of special education, and stated suggestions for developing the system to keep pace with the needs of society.
