The College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra held a student festival on the occasion of the birth of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) in cooperation with the Fajr Al-Amal Student Team and in the presence of a number of prominent figures, including Representative Adnan Al-Jaberi, Chairman of the Parliamentary Oil and Gas Committee in the Iraqi Council of Representatives, and under the supervision of the lecturer Zainab Saeb Abdul Amir and Hasna Khazal Mawazi.

The festival's segments varied between student competitions, challenges, and poetry recitation on the occasion of the birth of Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and some advice for first-stage students.

The festival concluded with the distribution of prizes and gifts to the participants.
