The College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra organized an integrated international scientific symposium entitled "Geographical and historical analysis of the phenomenon of terrorism in Iraq and the Arab world and ways to confront it".
The symposium included several axes in which professors from the College of Education for Girls participated and included an operetta entitled "The Soil of Iraq" supervised by Dr. Fadia Yaqoub in cooperation with students from the College of Fine Arts. Professor Dr. Fahd Mazban Kharraz referred in his axis to a geopolitical analysis of the crimes of genocide by ISIS.
Dr. Murtada Muzaffar Sahar Matar explained ISIS electronic terrorism and its repercussions on the involvement of the youth category.
Dr. Ali Nasser Abdullah explained the environment between terrorism and renewal.
The symposium aimed to clarify the geographical and historical analysis of the phenomenon of terrorism in Iraq and the Arab region. A scientific approach to combating terrorism using effective research tools and strategies and exchanging expertise between leading academic and scientific institutions from all over the Arab world.
