University of Basra organizes a tree planting campaign on the occasion of National Tree Planting Day.

 

The College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra organized a large tree planting campaign in conjunction with the Prime Minister's initiative to plant five million trees and palm trees, and in implementation of the plan of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the direction of the President of the University of Basra, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, invited the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, Dr. Amal Muhammad Abdul Karim, to participate in the activities of the National Tree Planting Day.

The campaign included an elite group of professors and college employees planting and planting the college corridors with many types of plants and trees in order to preserve the environment, expand green spaces, preserve nature, and combat climate change.

The initiative aimed to enhance wildlife, preserve the environment, combat climate change, expand green spaces, protect vegetation, and preserve the beauty of nature in the college corridors.
