University of Basra Organizes Human Rights Festival

The College of Education for Women at the University of Basra organized a student cultural festival on human rights, under the supervision of the college and in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit. The festival was attended by a number of professors and students.

The festival aimed to raise awareness of human rights and promote the values ​​of justice and equality. It included several cultural and awareness-raising activities, including an interactive cultural competition on human rights concepts and an art exhibition presented by individuals with hearing disabilities. A sign language interpreter was also provided to ensure everyone's participation.

The festival included active participation from female students, who contributed to the preparation of the events, enhancing self-learning and a deeper understanding of human rights.

The festival concluded with an honoring ceremony for the participants, in a stimulating atmosphere that contributed to enhancing human rights awareness within the university environment.
