
A lecturer at the University of Basra participated in the scientific conference "The Role of Educational Institutions in Advancing the Scientific and Educational Reality," organized by the University of Sulaimani/College of Islamic Sciences in cooperation with the University of Iraq/College of Education for Women.
Dr. Dunya Salman Mohsen, a lecturer at the College of Education for Women at the University of Basra, contributed to the scientific conference "The Course of Educational Organizations in Advancing the Scientific and Educational Reality," held at the University of Sulaimani/College of Islamic Sciences.
For this reason, she addressed the topic "The Impact of Religious Education in Confronting Violence, Extremism, and Terrorism in Islamic Thought."
The research aimed to demonstrate the creativity of religious education and awareness in confronting moral ills that promote violence, extremism, and terrorism by promoting human values through education and awareness of sound thinking and fostering false beliefs.
