The University of Basra Organizes an Art Exhibition Titled "Decorative Inspirations."
The College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra organized an Islamic art exhibition titled "Decorative Inspirations" under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, and under the supervision and guidance of the Deanship of the College of Education for Girls, Dr. Amal Muhammad Abdul Karim.
The art exhibition aimed to highlight the religious influence through creative decorative paintings that conveyed diverse meanings and expressions. Their decorations depicted the great sacrifices made during the painful Karbala tragedy, as well as the impact of the sacrifice of the Master of Martyrs (peace be upon him) for the advancement of Islam by eliminating injustice, confronting oppressors, and upholding human dignity.
The exhibition included numerous decorative paintings featuring creative manuscripts that reflected the inspiration of great Islamic landmarks, such as the Karbala tragedy. These paintings were distinguished by their Islamic creativity and sublime meanings.
