Dr. Fadia Yaqoub Youssef, a lecturer at the College of Education for Women, University of Basra, participated in the International Conference of Historians (IHA), organized by the International Federation of Historians under the title "Intercultural Communication: The Role of the Humanities in Promoting Understanding and World Peace." The conference was held in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, on August 27-28, 2025.

The participation included a research paper titled "Historical Roots of Cultures among Nations."

The research addressed the importance of studying the historical roots of cultures among nations and their impact.

The research aimed to highlight the importance of understanding the history of peoples' cultures and their impact on the present.
