
A doctoral dissertation at the College of Education for Girls, entitled "The Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the Prophet's (peace be upon him and his family) Commandments: Intellectual Dimensions and Practical Reality - An Analytical Study," was presented by student Duaa Adnan Ramadan al-Najjar.
The study aimed to demonstrate the importance of the Prophet's (peace be upon him and his family) commandments specific to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). These commandments varied in religious, scientific, political, social, and economic dimensions. These commandments had a practical reality that varied among Muslims according to their intellectual and doctrinal affiliations, between supporters and opponents.
The dissertation concluded that the commandments of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) are of great importance to Muslims' beliefs, as they are binding upon them to follow and not violate them. Thus, they have taken on a mandatory dimension by divine command. Among the commandments of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) are: And God had specific commandments for his family, peace be upon them, which the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family, instilled in the minds of Muslims, demonstrating their religious and worldly status. He emphasized the importance of the interconnectedness between the systems of prophethood and imamate to complete the divine project in its theoretical and practical dimensions.
