      The College of Education for Women at Basra University held an attendence seminar on analytical philosophy and the development of linguistic research.  The seminar organized by the Department of Arabic Language in the college and it lectured by Dr. Zafer Kazem , where he referred to the analytical philosophers as they are the ones who are most concerned with the topics of language and its researches. Unlike other philosophers,  language and its study from their point of view represent a goal and a purpose. He added that analytical philosophy had its first pioneers,  who set the first research currents directed at language uniquely before others.                                                                        

      The study aims to find out the  opinions,  contributions,  and stances due to their strong and effective influences that cast their shadow on the field of linguistic research in general.
