Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Assistant Professor Dr. Amal Mohammed Abdul Karim,

the College's Guidance Unit held a gathering to commemorate the birth of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) under the title "A Meeting Place for Knowledge and Religion."

The gathering included a recitation from the Holy Quran, a lecture on the importance of chastity for women, the recitation of poems praising the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), and jurisprudential and scientific competitions.

The Dean of the College, the Head of the Guidance Unit, Professor Dr. Hanaa Abdul Nabi Al-Abadi, and a number of female students attended the gathering.

Student Nada Mohammed Khudair participated as a representative of the Meeting Place for Knowledge and Religion Foundation, and Ms. Wasan Rahman and Ms. Atheer represented the Missionary Women's Association.
