The University of Basra organizes a seminar entitled "Peaceful Coexistence in the Thought of Imam Ali (peace be upon him): An Educational Vision for Achieving a Balanced Society"
The College of Education for Women, Continuing Education Unit, at the University of Basra, organized an in-person seminar entitled "Peaceful Coexistence in the Thought of Imam Ali (peace be upon him): An Educational Vision for Achieving a Balanced Society," in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra and professors from the College of Administration and Economics.
The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of promoting a culture of peaceful coexistence, given its significant role in rejecting discord, maintaining social peace among different segments of society, and fostering a culture of dialogue and justice among them.
The seminar included three main themes. Dr. Dunya Salman Mohsen explained the essence of peaceful coexistence and how Imam Ali (peace be upon him) established its principles.
Dr. Iman Hato Jahloul, a faculty member in the Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, discussed the management of values according to the approach of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
Lecturer Yasmin Najm Abdullah explained the foundations for building a balanced society in the thought of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
